The Columbia Classical Ballet Trainee Program
2018 - 2019 Season Trainee Program
Artistic Director: Radenko Pavlovich
Contact: Kristen Pucik (803) 252-9112
The Trainee program provides talented young dancers from around the world a chance to follow their dreams and see if they have the skill and determination to become a full company member.
Many of our Trainees have gone on to become company members, soloists and principal dancers at CCB and other companies.
While Trainees are not paid, the instruction and experience you will have while dancing with CCB are extremely valuable!
Trainees take company class, recieve individual instruction from Radenko Pavlovich and other CCB Dance staff, and observe and learn from world-class, award winning company members.
Contact us now to see if you have what it takes to be the next CCB company member!
All Trainees receive:
- An opportunity to dance in company performances at the Koger Center for the Arts Theater and other performances
- A personal evaluation at the end of the season with the possibility of being selected for a position with the main company.
- Training and personal feedback from the Staff at the CCB International Ballet Center
- Worker's compensation insurance
- Pointe shoes
The Trainee season lasts approximately twenty-six (26) weeks. Dates are expected to be mid-August 2017 through mid-December 2017 and January 2018 through mid-March 2018.
