
From Italy, Luca Sportelli has been dancing since the age of 10. At the age of 13 he studied at Teatro San Carlo Ballet School in Naples. In 2014 Luca continued his training at the San Francisco Ballet School. In 2013 and 2014 he won medals in the ‘DanceTwoThousand’ National Competition in Italy. Luca has danced with the Moscow Ballet and Kharkiv Ballet.Performances include the Solor variation from La Bayadere, Corps de Ballet fromDon Quixote and Paquita pas de trois. Mr Sportelli has also studied with Desmond Richardson, co-director of complexions contemporary ballet, for 5 summers. This is Luca’s first season with Columbia Classical Ballet.
