Dr. Jennifer Amrol

Jennifer grew up dancing in Rock Hill, SC at the York County School of Ballet under Anne Blackwell. She attended The Governors School for the Arts Summer Dance Program. She danced with Columbia Classical Ballet under Radenko Pavlovich. She graduated from Furman University and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine. She works as a pediatrician at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital training medical students and resident physicians in pediatrics. She has been teaching adult ballet classes in Columbia for many years; she teaches with a focus on the mental and physical benefits of dance and the joy of lifelong learning. She delights in sharing her love of dance with Columbia’s community.
