Our Registration System

What Is Class Manager?

Class Manager is the online system the School of Columbia Classical Ballet uses for registration and class enrollment. It is a separate website, so when you continue, it opens in a new tab with Columbia Classical Ballet at the top. Our website stays open here if you need to come back.

On Class Manager, you will

  • Create a family account, or sign in if you already have one
  • Add your dancer and choose a class
  • Complete the Waiver & Release of Liability, required for every dancer

Already signed up on Class Manager during our open classes? You are all set.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Which class is right for my dancer?
Classes are grouped by age. Pre-Ballet is for ages 3 to 6, Young Dancers for ages 6 to 10, and Pre-Professional for ages 10 and up, with placement by audition. Musical Theater and the Boys & Men’s Class are open to ages 8 and up, Contemporary Jazz to ages 10 and up, and Adult Ballet to ages 14 and up. If you are not sure, ask us below and we will help you choose.
Does my dancer need any experience?
No experience is needed for Pre-Ballet or Young Dancers. Adult Ballet welcomes everyone from first-timers to experienced dancers. Pre-Professional placement is by audition only.
Can we try a class first?
Adult Ballet drop-ins are $20 a class, and drop-ins to the Boys & Men’s Class are free. For any other class, send us a question or ask to meet one of our teachers at the studio.
What does it cost?
Tuition is listed with each class on our School page. A $45 annual registration fee ($60 for Pre-Professional) and a $50 costume fee apply. Families enrolling more than one student receive a 10% sibling discount, and tuition paid in full receives a 5% discount. Adult classes have no registration or costume fee.
How is tuition paid?
Tuition is paid monthly through the Parent Portal, or annually with a 5% discount.
When does the season run?
The Fall Term runs September 8 to December 19, 2026, and the Spring Term runs January 4 to May 29, 2027. The Holiday Show is December 19 and the Spring Show is May 29. Holidays and closures are listed in the Student Handbook.
Is there a waiver?
Yes. Every dancer completes a Waiver & Release of Liability when they register. For dancers under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs.
We came to your open classes. Are we registered?
Only if you signed up on Class Manager. If you did, you are all set. Not sure? Call (803) 990-2345 or email school@columbiaclassicalballet.com and we will check for you.
Where is the studio?
610 Harden Street, in Five Points, Columbia. On Gamecock home football Saturdays, traffic and parking are tight in Five Points, so plan a few extra minutes for Saturday classes.
